Malava MP, the late Malulu Injendi, was in high spirits and on the road to recovery in the days leading up to his untimely death, his wife, Betty Malulu, has revealed.

Speaking during the late lawmaker's burial ceremony in Lukusi Village on Tuesday, March 4, the deceased's wife opened up about the weeks before the MP succumbed to illness.

She recalled how Malulu was initially sceptical about visiting a health facility when he first started experiencing symptoms suggesting all was not well with his health.

According to Betty, when Malulu first exhibited signs of extreme weakness, she urged him to get checked, but the lawmaker was adamant that he was fine.
