An estimated 180 households in Kisa North Ward, Khwisero Sub County, are set to benefit from rural electrification in the region.

Area MP Christopher Aseka said the plan marks another milestone in the journey of accessing and bringing electricity closer to the people.

He said the ambitious project will be undertaken by the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC).

The legislator was speaking yesterday when REREC dropped poles at Ebutanyi Junction village, Mundobelwa sublocation, ready for the work. "This project brings power closer to over 180 households, thus improving livelihoods and offering opportunities for our people, "he said.
