The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has dismissed allegations of mixing up the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results during marking.
In a brief statement on Thursday, January 9, the examination council flagged a viral social media post alleging that KNEC was now planning to issue the exam results randomly.
The flagged post alleged that an examiner who participated in the marking of the national examinations disclosed that the KCSE papers were mixed up during the marking process.
According to the post, the examiner further alleged that KNEC was now planning to randomly distribute the results without determining the accuracy of the marked papers.
