KeNHA is offering six-month vocational training courses to young Kenyans who have at least completed the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), creating opportunities for technical skills development and economic empowerment.
The announcement, issued on Tuesday, March 11, in the government publication MyGov, details a comprehensive scholarship programme covering tuition, examination fees, material costs, and a monthly subsistence allowance for beneficiaries.
The training programme will be hosted at the Kenya Coast National Polytechnic (KCNP), Mazeras Youth Polytechnic (MYP), and Mariakani Vocational Training Centre (MVTC), offering a range of courses.
At KCNP, learners can enrol in Electrical Installation, Plumbing, Masonry, Carpentry, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Welding and Fabrication, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and Dressmaking and Tailoring.
