A former Member of the County Assembly (MCA) has been arrested by detectives from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) for masquerading as one of the officers.

The EACC, in a statement, revealed they had nabbed the former Kyululu Ward MCA alongside two other suspects.

In their statement, the anti-graft agency revealed the trio was arrested at an entertainment venue in Komarock as they waited to pounce on a victim.

Further investigations by EACC detectives uncovered the extent of the criminal organisation involving the three suspects, who were found in possession of mobile phones and 22 SIM cards, which were confiscated by authorities.
