Super Metro, on Wednesday, March 12, released a statement in the wake of a recent incident involving one of its buses where a tout allegedly threw a man out of a moving bus over an unpaid fare.

In its statement, Super Metro revealed that it had suspended the crew involved in the incident as investigations commenced. "We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident involving one of the buses operating under our company's name.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to the victim's family and loved ones during this difficult time," stated Super Metro. "While the matter is under investigation, we want to assure everyone that we take safety very seriously.

We do not condone reckless behaviour, and as a precautionary measure, the crew involved in this incident has been suspended pending further investigation," the company added.
