President William Ruto's motorcade was momentarily disrupted on Thursday afternoon after youths in Kibera, Nairobi County, sought his audience.
The incident ensued after the youths, who were mostly men, rushed toward the head of state's motorcade as he entered Ayany Primary School in Kibra to commission a project.
However, police officers who were on high alert quickly intervened and began beating up the rowdy youths who managed to access the restricted school compound.
In the videos seen by Kenyans.co.ke, armed police officers were recorded attempting to block the youth from accessing the institution, with the officers seen beating some of them up.
