Bungoma Water and Sewerage Company (BWASCO) has launched a crackdown on all illegal water connections in Bungoma town and its environs.
The company's managing director Mr.
Mathews Wakhungu accused some residents of installing illegal connections to the company's pipelines and warned the culprits that they would face the law.
He was speaking to KNA in Bungoma town when he led a team of officers from the company and security officers in an operation to disconnect the illegal connections.
