The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) has announced that doctors in Nairobi County will be marching to voice their medical demands on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
In a statement released on Friday, KMPDU stated that the march aims to push for the posting of medical interns and the establishment of a Public Officer Medical Fund.
The union emphasised that these issues have been ignored for too long, leaving many doctors, medical interns, and medical workers frustrated.
The demos will be led by KMPDU Secretary General Davji Atela and the Union of Kenya Civil Servants(UKCS) Secretary General Tom Odege. KMPDU leaders lead a strike of doctors in Kenya.
