A day after the National Police Service (NPS) urged members of the public to share details of the foreigner killed by the Presidential convoy, it emerged that the deceased was a British citizen.
According to the BBC, the deceased was a 79-year-old who was a regular visitor to Kenya.
At the time of his death, he had travelled to the country to visit his sister and nephew, who reside in Kenya.
Police Spokesperson Michael Muchiri, speaking to the publication, confirmed that the driver of the vehicle in Ruto's convoy that knocked down the man had already been apprehended and would be arraigned in court soon.
