Five suspects appeared before the Nakuru High Court on Thursday, March 13, facing murder charges related to the killing of Nakuru activist Richard Otieno, also known as Molo President.
In a statement released on Friday, March 14, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) confirmed that the suspects were accused of the brutal murder of Otieno, a blogger and political activist, at his residence in Elburgon. "Five men were yesterday charged with murder at the Nakuru High Court.
The charge relates to the brutal killing of Richard Otieno, alias Molo President, a blogger and political activist, at his residence in Elburgon," the ODPP stated.
The ODPP further noted that the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges when they appeared before Lady Justice Patricia Gichohi.
