Busia University of Eldoret Students Association has led a clean-up drive at Soko Posta Market in Busia town.

Speaking on behalf of the students, the association's patron, Prof Paul Odwori, said that the move was a way of giving back to society. "This is the second time we are carrying out such an exercise.

We were here last year for a similar exercise, and we are planning to make it an annual event," Prof Odwori said.

Odwori added that the student association also carried out environmental activities like tree planting within the county. "Apart from this, the students also visit learning institutions and talk to students as they encourage them to work hard," he said.
