About 200 residents of Mbooni constituency have been trained on data protection, aimed at raising their awareness on data privacy, security and compliance with the Data Protection Act.
The participants were trained on how to regulate personal data processing, ensuring adherence to the data protection principles, safeguarding individual privacy and legal mechanisms for data security.
Personnel from The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) conducted the exercise at a hotel in Tawa market, Mbooni East Sub County.
