Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has accused former Prime Minister Raila Odinga of using his supporters for personal gain rather than standing up for the people following the political alliance between Raila Odinga and President William Ruto.

Speaking in Trans Nzoia while distributing free seeds to small-scale farmers in Sikhendu, he said that he would be the voice of Kenyans against the government, especially now that the opposition has been weakened.  Natembeya further noted that he had taken it upon himself to speak on behalf of Kenyans and would continue to challenge the government on issues affecting the people. "I have decided to offer myself to speak on behalf of Kenyans and I will not fear because it is the right thing to do.

We have serious cross-cutting issues affecting Kenyans," he stated.
