St Peter's Abwao Secondary School in Suna West Sub- County in Migori has had all its results withheld, after it emerged as the number one Nyanza school in previous Kenya Certificate for Secondary Education (KCSE) 2023 results.
A somber mood engulfed the school when the KNA team visited, with visibly worried parents seeking clarity from Peter Magawe, the new Principal, who reported to the school the same day the results were released. "I have just reported in this school, I have no comment about the results," Magawe stated.
The withheld results were confirmed by Migori County National Education Director, Jacob Onyiego.
Onyiego affirmed that it is only Abwao Secondary School results that have been withheld in the entire County.
