Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya was attacked and forcefully ushered out of the Nyayo Stadium in harrowing scenes on Sunday, March 23.
Salasya was among the thousands of Kenyans who were in attendance at Kenya's crucial World Cup qualifier match against Gabon.
However, the vocal legislator had an afternoon to forget as his stay at the stadium was short-lived following an altercation with a section of the crowd.
Videos obtained by Kenyans.co.ke show Salasya struggling to break free from an irate crowd who roughed him up and forcibly showed him towards the stadium's exit.
