Kenya Seed Company (KSC) chairperson Wangui Ngirici has urged President William Ruto to complete stalled projects initiated by his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta in the Central Kenya region.

Ms Ngirici said Kirinyaga has many projects that have stalled that can benefit the locals once complete.

The former Kirinyaga Woman Representative, however, said she will contest the Kirinyaga governor seat in 2027 as an independent candidate.

The KSC chair claimed she was betrayed by President Ruto in the run-up to the 2022 elections even after spending her money to popularise the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in the Mount Kenya region. "I made UDA popular in Kirinyaga and recruited members, but what I received from President Ruto was betrayal.
