Kenyans have been warned to brace for heavy rainfall, with nighttime temperatures potentially dropping below 10°C, according to the latest forecast by the Kenya Meteorological Department.
According to Kenya Met, residents in the Central Highlands, Western Kenya, Lake Victoria Basin, Rift Valley, Southeastern Lowlands, Coast, Northeastern, and Northwestern Kenya will experience isolated heavy rainfall.
Furthermore, those living along the Coast, Northeastern, and Northwestern Kenya have been advised to prepare for high daytime temperatures that could exceed 30°C over the next six days, from Tuesday to Monday, March 31.
In the latest update, Nairobi will experience moderate temperatures ranging between 20°C and 25°C, while those in Nakuru and Eldoret will see slightly cooler conditions, averaging between 17°C and 20°C.
