Civil Servants will have to tighten their belts longer as the government has no intention of reviewing their salaries anytime soon despite the harsh economic times.
According to the Public Service Commission (PSC), the financial crisis was global and had affected the country's economy, leading to stagnated salaries.
This came as the commission identified economic challenges as one of the major causes of the rise in cases of mental health among government workers.
According to PSC Vice-Chairperson Mary Kimonye, review of salaries was subject to the revenue that the country collected.
