As President William Ruto gears up for his highly anticipated tour of the Mount Kenya region next week, leaders from the area are signaling their eagerness for his visit.
Nominated Member of Parliament Sabina Chege expressed optimism, stating that the region stands to gain significantly from the president's visit. "We are waiting for what he will bring to us as a father.
The Mount Kenya people I have met are waiting for the president.
There will be no heckling because the people of Mount Kenya have been promised a lot and want to see the progress," Sabina said in an interview with The Standard.
