Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua, on Sunday, March 30, met with Kitui County Assembly leaders to discuss key areas of collaboration just days after meeting with President William Ruto.
In a statement, Mutua outlined 10 key areas discussed in the session and agreements met, including opposing any impeachment motions against governors from the three Ukambani regions of Kitui, Machakos, and Makueni.
He noted that supporting any of these impeachment motions would "create confusion and chaos" instead of fostering much-needed loyalty. "I do not and will not support any impeachment of leaders in Ukambani counties.
