At least two people have reportedly died, while another is nursing critical injuries following a road accident along the Nairobi-Kangundo Road in Matungulu, Machakos County.
Witnesses who spoke to the press on Tuesday morning revealed that the victims were travelling on a speeding motorcycle when it hit a personal car that was heading in the same direction.
According to a police report, the victims of the accident included two pillion passengers and the cyclist.
While one passenger and the cyclist died on the spot, another passenger sustained injuries.
