The Orange Democratic Movement has announced the dismissal of all county election coordinators in Nairobi County ahead of the party's grassroots elections next week.
In a statement on Wednesday, April 2, the party's Secretary-General, Edwin Sifuna, also confirmed the expulsion of the chair of the elections coordinators in Migori and some coordinators in Siaya counties.
According to Sifuna, the party, through the National Elections Coordinating Committee (NECC), will announce new coordinators in the three counties before Saturday, April 7. "The county elections coordinators for Nairobi, all of them, have been dismissed.
Also, the chair of coordinators in Migori and some of the coordinators in Siaya County are to be replaced with immediate effect.
