Senior Presidential Economic Council advisor Moses Kuria has announced that boda boda riders and Community Health Promoters (CHPs) who will help enroll the public for the Social Health Authority (SHA) programme will be rewarded.

In an X post on Wednesday, April 2, Kuria said that any member of the boda boda fraternity and CHPs who will help other Kenyans join and start making payments to SHA will be awarded a Ksh20 commission.

Additionally, Kuria noted that the government has also rolled out a programme that will see the daily deductions of small amounts from mobile money for SHA payments. "Every CHP or Boda Boda that assists Members to join SHA and start making payments to get Ksh20 commission," he said.
