Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been dealt a blow after one of his staunch supporters pledged allegiance to President William Ruto.
Maragua Constituency Member of Parliament Mary Wamaua on Thursday, April 3, shifted the political landscape in Central Kenya once again after she publicly endorsed the President, claiming that she made a mistake in supporting Gachagua.
While speaking during the Head of State's tour in Nyandarua, the MP claimed she was had been in talks with Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, whom she claims she has been in talks with since November 2024. "Professor Kithure Kindiki is my good friend.
I know (Mr President) you have been watching me, and I have been in talks with Kindiki since November," the MP said amid cheers from the crowd.
