In a significant push for road infrastructure projects, Kwale County has announced plans to expand road projects aimed at enhancing connectivity and fostering economic growth.

The coastal county government announced plans to expand its urban road network from 3,833 kilometres to 6,833 kilometres within five years, reflecting a steadfast commitment to infrastructure development.

Governor Fatuma Achani says the move is aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving connectivity in the coastal county. "Our goal is to support rapid economic growth, address infrastructure deficits and improve the quality of life for our people," she said.

She expressed her commitment to building a robust infrastructure that supports growth and prosperity, highlighting the devolved government's dedication to developing quality road networks.
