The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has warned Kenyans against sharing images of the crash that led to the deaths of 13 people along the Kaplong-Litein Road.
In a statement on Saturday night, the authority confirmed that emergency services had completed their work at the accident scene and that the injured were receiving treatment. "As we condole with the families and friends of the victims, we humbly request members of the public to show respect and desist from sharing images of the crash," the NTSA statement read.
Meanwhile, the National Police Service (NPS) has announced that investigations into the accident are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
