Gunshots and chaos filled the air in Nairobi's Kasarani estate after security officers associated with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua fired into the air to disperse hundreds of youths who had stormed the PCEA church in Mwiki.
According to reports, the security officers linked to the former DP acted after the youth stormed the church, allegedly demanding cash payments for them to attend the event. The youth gained entry into the church and broke chairs used by the congregants during the service.
The goons were mainly dressed in military fatigues and combat gear, raising fears about their intention. More to follow:
