The Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) administration has assured nurses that they will fully comply with the Return to Work Formula to prevent any further industrial action.

The Referral hospital nurses halted their 15-day strike after the medical facility management negotiated a return-to-work agreement with the Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN).

The MTRH Chief Executive Officer CEO Dr.

Philip Kirwa, noted that following the discussions and negotiations they have had with the Kenya National Union of Nurses, the health workers have reached an agreement to resume their duties immediately. "I am pleased to tell you that all the problematic issues have been resolved amicably and agreeably," said Daniel Osoro, the KNUN branch manager.
