Machakos County Governor Wavinya Ndeti has invited the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to visit the county and investigate her instead of relying on what she described as inaccurate information from critics.
Speaking on Tuesday, April 8, the governor emphasized that she was not afraid of the outcome, as it would ensure that the commission received accurate information about her performance. "I want to urge the EACC and all the government agencies not to let people continue sending you information that is not true," she stated. "If you have any information or need any clarification, or if you need to come to investigate, come to Machakos County.
We will provide whatever you need so that you can know whether what you are being told is the truth or a lie.
As the governor of Machakos County, I am not fearful," she added.
