Business owners from Mukuro market in Suna West Sub County have urged the Migori county government to build them latrines following the outbreak of cholera in the region that has so far affected 53 people and claimed one life.

Speaking to the media, the business owners committee head Joel Owour, raised concern over a latrine that is already filled up and flowing. "This latrine is filled up, the town is dirty, and garbage is everywhere.

We need the county to act now before more lives are lost," said Owour.

Owour said the county government has been promising them latrines since last financial year but has not delivered on their promises.
