Detectives have arrested three suspects linked to the murder of Aisha Abubakar, an Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) official from Kilifi County, who was killed on January 5.
The suspects identified as Isa Omari, Brian Shikuku Mudari, and Bryan Templer Oyare were apprehended by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) during coordinated operations across the coastal region.
Several items were recovered from the suspects, including one of the stolen phones belonging to Abubakar's son. "The suspects were flushed out from their hideouts in separate, coordinated operations following a seven-day manhunt for the perpetrators of the 3 a.m.
robbery," the DCI said on Monday evening.
