Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) Secretary and CEO, Abdi Ahmed Mohamoud, was on Monday sworn into office by Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court Winrida Mokaya Boyani at the Supreme Court, Nairobi.
The function was graced by the Chief Justice (CJ) Martha Koome, EACC Chair Bishop David Oginde, Director of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations Amin Mohammed Ibrahim, Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JALC) Chairperson George Murugara, Deputy IG Kenya Police Eliud Lagat, among other guests.
Mohamoud takes over from Twalib Abdallah Mbarak, who has served as the EACC Secretary/CEO for the past six years.
He was appointed through a gazette notice dated 5th December 2024, following the expiry of Twalib.
