Pastor James Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism Church has once again come under criticism after a video of him slapping a congregant went viral on social media platforms.
The one-minute video shared on various digital platforms attracted backlash from Kenyans, including the political class, with many calling for decisive action against the preacher.
Among them is Homa Bay Town Member of Parliament George Kaluma, who urged the government to take stern measures and stop Ng'ang'a's provocative actions.
Taking to his X account on Saturday evening, Kaluma called for the immediate prosecution of Ng'ang'a, terming his actions an abuse of the worshipper's rights.
