A truck ferrying cars on Sunday evening overturned at Tsavo along the busy Nairobi-Mombasa highway, leaving the cars sprawled across the highway.
In a video seen by Kenyans.co.ke, the truck was shown blocking the entire highway, forcing other road users to seek alternative ways to traverse the scene.
Frustrated drivers resorted to squeezing through the edge of the road, and traffic started building due to the disruption.
The Long Distance Drivers and Conductors Association (LODDCA), which reported the accident, warned drivers to anticipate traffic, especially during the night.
