A family in Busia County is appealing to well-wishers, Budalangi Member of Parliament Raphael Wanzala, and Busia Governor Paul Otuoma to help them raise Ksh3 million to settle bills and lay to rest five of their relatives who perished in a road accident. The five lost their lives in a tragic accident in Uaranga, Siaya, on April 6.
The family lost a businessman, his two children, their housemaid, and another relative who were travelling home when the fatal crash occurred.
Their car, a saloon car, overturned after ramming into the stalled bus, with rescuers rushing to rescue the family and managing to save three children and the wife.
