The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Tuesday, April 15, apprehended two women following a damning WhatsApp status that had one of them brandishing a gun.
According to the DCI's report, the DCI detectives, alongside their counterparts from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau in the Nyanza region, arrived at the doorstep of one of the women after reports of the ominous status update.
In the post, the woman reportedly warned any man planning on dumping her that there would be severe consequences as she posed with the weapon, a Canik pistol.
The officers then ascended into the residence of the woman in Awasi town, a two-bedroom house she shared with her friend and, later, co-accused.
