Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Babu Owino has opened up about his chances of vying to unseat President William Ruto in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, April 19, Babu Owino reiterated his assertion that he is overqualified for the position and that he is the only person in Kenya who can beat President Ruto in the race.
In fact, the MP noted, he would beat the president the day before the elections, as opposed to a common saying that alludes to winning early in the morning. "As of now, we are overqualified to beat the President of the Republic of Kenya.
It is only Babu Owino who can beat Ruto squarely a day before the elections.
