Human rights activist and VOCAL Africa CEO, Hussein Khalid, has announced that their offices in Kileleshwa, Nairobi, were broken into.
In a statement on Tuesday, April 22, he said that sensitive documents and gadgets worth hundreds of thousands were stolen during the incident. "We wish to inform members of the public that our offices, situated in Kileleshwa, Tabere Crescent, Nairobi, were broken into, and sensitive documents and gadgets were taken away.
Our main laptop is missing, as well as other communication gadgets, including the camera," he said.
According to the statement, Hussein said that the organisation is still unsure about the reason behind the office break-in.
