Kajiado East Member of Parliament Kakuta Maimai has urged the youth to make better use of social media and refrain from abusing leaders and giving out misleading information on the platform.
Speaking in a public forum over the weekend, the legislator noted that of late, most youths are now using the various social media platforms to hurl insults at leaders which should not be the case.
He advised the youth to use the various social media platforms to build themselves rather than attacking leaders. "Use social media wisely and profitably; it is a powerful tool that can open doors in business, education and personal growth.
Don't waste it on insults and petty politics.
