The government, through the National Land Commission(NLC), has announced plans to allocate land in Nyandarua and Kericho Counties.

Through a notice on Tuesday, December 31, NLC revealed a 0.99-acre piece of land would be allocated to the general public and any other interested parties. "Notice is hereby given that the expiry of 30 days from the date of publication of this notice.

The National Land Commission on behalf of the County government of Nyandarua intends to regulate the tenure of Olkalou Township/ Block V/ 453 of acreage 0990 Ha in Olkalou township for commercial use," the notice read.

Regulation of the land tenure, according to NLC, will be subject to terms covenants, conditions and reservations which will need to be included in the conveyance documents between the government and the interested parties.
