Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i is expected to make his first public appearance in the Gusii region on Friday, May 2.
According to his allies, he will be accompanied by a host of elected leaders from Kisii and Nyamira counties, including Governors Simba Arati (Kisii) and Amos Nyaribo (Nyamira), as well as Senators Onyonka and Okong'o Omogeni.
Several Members of County Assemblies (MCAs) from both counties are also expected to join the tour.
The Friday visit will feature a series of meet-the-people engagements and official stops at the two county governments (Nyamira and Kisii).
