The government, through the National Treasury, has reopened the pensioner self-registration portal for pensioners who initially failed to register.
While announcing the re-opening of the registration portal, the Pensions Department at the Ministry of Treasury noted that the extension was for the pensioners who faced difficulties during the initial three-month registration period.
The Ministry, in the notice, said the registration portal would be opened for one week up to May 10 this year, to ensure those who were unfairly disadvantaged during the previous registration were considered. "In line with our core values and response to genuine requests filed during the exception period, we have reopened the pensioner self-registration portal one final time until May 10, 2025," the Ministry announced.
