The Public Service Commission (PSC) on Saturday, May 3, exposed a jobs scam circulating on WhatsApp and urged unsuspecting Kenyans to stay alert over fake job offers shared on the social media platform.
Through a statement, PSC cautioned against falling victim to the con and warned Kenyans not to send money to individuals posing as PSC staff offering fake jobs. "Beware of fake jobs circulating online, especially on WhatsApp.
Kindly note that these are fraudsters posing as PSC staff demanding bribes for nonexistent jobs and promotions," they stated. "PSC recruitment is FREE, transparent, and merit-based," the Commission further asserted.
