Cabinet Secretaries across various ministries have announced new appointments under their dockets as part of the broader strategy to enhance service delivery and address emerging challenges.
According to a gazette notice published on May 2, Energy and Petroleum CS Davis Chirchir appointed Daniel Mugao to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Ports Authority.
While announcing the appointment of Mugai for three years, Chirchir revoked the appointment of Emmanuel Kibet, who landed the position in January 2023.
At the same time, Labour CS Alfred Mutua appointed Mercy Kavayi to be a member of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, for three years beginning May 1, 2025.
