Several football players narrowly escaped with their lives after the van they were travelling in was involved in a road accident along the busy Kitale-Lodwar highway on Sunday morning.
According to reports, the players were travelling back home from a league match when the Turkrift Shuttle carrying the players collided with another vehicle at Karoge Centre in Turkana South.
The accident left several players injured, with a number of them losing consciousness from the impact of the crash.
Luckily, no fatalities were reported.
