The Kenya National Highway Authority (KeNHA) has announced that it intends to acquire more land for the dualling of the Mombasa-Mariakani Road.
In a notice issued in the Kenya Gazette issue of April 30, the authority issued an update on the pieces of land they were pursuing, including the deletion of the previously listed MN/V/2028, MN/V/412R, MN/V/3070 and MN/V/1884, totalling about 13 acres. "The National Land Commission intends to acquire additional parcels of land on behalf of the Kenya National Highways Authority for the dualling of Mombasa-Mariakani (A109) Road," part of the notice read.
Additionally, KeNHA also modified the acquisition notice of four more land parcels, totalling 7.5 acres, which are MN/V/2856, MN/V/2857, MN/V/2804, and MN/V/2858.
