A majority of Kenyans have expressed confidence in former Registrar of the Judiciary Anne Amadi to become the new Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairperson.
According to a survey report released by TIFA Research on Wednesday, May 7, 41 per cent of Kenyans approved of Amadi over former East African Court judge Charles Nyachae.
In the survey, 40 per cent of men expressed support for Amadi, while 42 per cent of women chose her as their preferred candidate to replace former Commission Chairperson Wafula Chebukati.
Nyachae emerged second in the survey, garnering a 23 per cent approval rating, preferred by 23 per cent of men and 20 per cent of women.
