In a bid to ensure pupils learn in a habitable and good environment, Mwea Member of Parliament Mary Maingi, through the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF), has fully transformed and improved the infrastructure at Wang'uru Primary School.
Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, along with other dignitaries, including officials from the Ministry of Education, graced the official opening ceremony of the newly constructed Tuition Complex and Administration Block.
The school, which has been in a deplorable state, has been utilizing older offices of the National Irrigation Authority, received a major facelift, and will be ready for occupancy by the pupils.
The one-storey building consists of spacious classrooms that can accommodate up to 100 pupils and an administration block.
