Notorious Haitian gang leader Jimmy "Barbecue" Cherizier likened himself to the United States' President Donald Trump during his latest interview with Dateline.
Barbecue, who leads the Viv Ansanm gang, told the publication that the US President was his inspiration to challenge the atrocities inflicted upon the people of Haiti.
According to Barbecue, Trump's "drain the swamp" slogan is one of his driving forces, claiming that he is seeking to reclaim Haiti despite taking over about 85 per cent of the Caribbean nation with violence. "Donald Trump is a patriot; he loves his country.
